ConvertPDF.Live ("we", "our", "the site") is a free, browser-based PDF toolkit available at https://convertpdf.live. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

2. Files You Upload — We Never See Them

This applies to every tool on the site — merge, split, compress, edit, convert, sign, protect, watermark, and all others. When you click "Download", the resulting file is generated locally in your browser and saved directly to your device.

3. Information We Do Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate and improve the site:

3.1 — Usage Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. This includes: pages visited, time spent, referring source (e.g. Google search, direct), browser type and version, operating system, approximate country/region (city-level data is not collected), and screen resolution. This data is anonymous and aggregated — it does not identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies to track sessions. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3.2 — Cookies

We use cookies only for Google Analytics session tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) may be saved to localStorage — this stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

3.3 — Email (if you contact us)

If you email us at , we will receive your email address and message content. We use this only to respond to you. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your information with third parties.

4. How We Use Information

The limited data we collect is used solely to:

• Understand which tools are most used so we can improve them
• Diagnose technical problems (e.g. which browsers have issues)

• Respond to support or feature-request emails

We do not sell data, run advertising, build user profiles, or share any information with third parties other than Google Analytics (described above).

5. Third-Party Services

The site loads the following third-party scripts:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — typography
• Cloudflare CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — PDF processing libraries (pdf-lib, PDF.js)
• jsDelivr CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net) — additional JS libraries (JSZip, PptxGenJS)

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. Cloudflare and jsDelivr may log your IP address as part of standard CDN operation. These logs are not shared with us.

6. Data Retention

We do not store any personal data on our own servers. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google's default) and then automatically deleted. If you email us, your email may be retained in our inbox until deleted manually.

7. Children's Privacy

ConvertPDF.Live is a general-purpose productivity tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our contact email, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
• Opt-out — opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the browser add-on linked above
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

Because we never receive your files, the primary security risk (file data exposure) is eliminated by design. The site is served over HTTPS. We do not maintain databases of user information.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. We recommend checking this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
